Pack Engineering was founded by Lonnie Pack in 2021 in response to growing demand for specialised structural engineering expert witness services across Australia.
Our team brings together expertise in structural engineering, construction, project management, and statistics — investigating structural failures and assessing compliance with Australian Standards including AS/NZS 1170, AS 4100, AS 3600, and AS 1720.

Founding Director · Sydney
Providing expert witness services since 2017, with 50+ cases and eighteen years' Civil & Structural engineering experience.
Experience spans steel, concrete, and timber structures; residential, roads, bridges, dynamics, demolition, lifting analysis, geotechnical, foundations, and retaining walls — with specialisation in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and material testing.
Court experience: Supreme Court of NSW and Supreme Court of Victoria.

Publications
A 525-page structural engineering textbook, with the first edition written by Lonnie Pack. Brian Kinnear contributed to the concrete chapter for the second edition.
